Aisling Bea
Aisling is a popular Irish comedian who has been around for some time. She was born in Kildare, Ireland, on 16th March 1984. She appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born on 16 March 1984) is also known as Aisling bea, is an Irish comedian actor, writer and director. Bea was first able to make a name for herself as a stand-up comedian in 2011, following small parts she played in Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. After 2012 she had been performing in sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms and similar programming. In 2012, after winning an award during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for different panel shows, where she was a frequent guest. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016-2017 and is a regular contestant in its spinoff, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she was blessed with one sibling named Sinead. The only female winner of So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea is her name in honor of her deceased father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who committed suicide at the age of three. Bea didn't learn how her father died until after she was thirteen. Bea adopted the stage name Bea as a tribute to her father. She also wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were brought up in a home by Helen Moloney, a teacher and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. Her parents were obsessed by racing and horses. As a young girl, Bea was an instructor in the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young stage that she was not attracted to the race industry for a profession, but instead enjoyed performing.
