Christina Hendricks has been an American actress for the past seven years. Her most notable part was in the role of Joan Holloway, in AMC's dramatic period drama Mad Men. Along with receiving critical praise, her work on the show earned six Emmy Award nominations under the best supporting actors category. The actress has earned recognition throughout the past two decades for her work in law drama Kevin Hill, comedy series Another Period and crime drama Tin Star. Her performance is noted in films such as Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River, the Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. Her voice can also be heard on the animated movies From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 & Scoob! She began her career as was a successful model. In the following years she continued her modeling career until 1999, when Undressed began her first character in a television show. Her first big role was in the drama comedy series Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her role in the hit show Firefly. Esquire magazine named her the best-looking woman in America in 2010 and declared one of the sexiest women on the planet.
